marathi paul padte pudhe

We always keep on saying "मराठी माणूस मागे पडत चाललाय"
But I read today’s Maharashtra Times and then I came to know that my belief was so wrong. There are many Marathi people who have crossed the limits and have reached so far that we can not even think about it. The whole newspaper focuses on the doings of the people who have been strengthening their spheres of knowledge and at the same time making the use of it for the benefits of other humans.
One of the names given is Dr. Vivek Ranganekar. His discovery of a gene preventing the generation of cancer cells has provided a new footstep in the fight of cancer. His discovery has resulted successful in mice. If this makes a desirable effect in humans also then this will be one of the noble discoveries in the world.
Another name is Amit Joshi who is a Nano-technician. He is holding the challenge to find out an anti weapon for the virus of Anthrex.
Mr.Vikram Pandit has been selected for the post of CEO of the largest international City Group bank. He is the first Indian who has got such a great position in the field of finance.
Mrs.Sheetal Gavankar is the head of the marketing department of the Zaylinks (Spelling may be wrong) company of the Silicon Valley. She is taking many efforts in order to spread the information about the products of the company all over the world. The company makes the Application Specific ICs. Reading this who will say that Marathi women are lagging?
Dr. Gangadhar Maddivar – Medical surgeon in Ameriaca
Mr. Subhash Gaitonde – Businessman in the Construction field of America.
The list is so large.

Now I won’t say that marathi man is lagging behind but I will say that he needs to be more keen to build his existence in this world.

Marathi Bana!!

Yesterday i had gone to watch Marathi Bana for the first time!! It is a marathi play. It is necessary to write "for the first time". Because i have seen people who have watched this play 6 to 7 times also. The play is so nice that anybody can watch it for any number of times. Even non-maharashtrian people. Really!!

The play was all about our maharashtian culture. It is not the story about the history of maharashtra. But it is the try to bring pepole into maharashtrian culture again, who are on the verge of forgetting everything about it. The people who are living in the culture of Shopping mall can show this play to their children whom they cannot make aware about the festivals and what the marathi culture is. It is my opinion that every marathi person must watch this play.

Mr. Ashok Hande has done really a great job. He has put all his efforts in making this play of worth. I saw neither a single negative point nor an incompleteness. So i will give 10 on 10 for this play. This is the best among all plays i have seen so far.
Thank you Mr. Hande that you are making us aware of the maharashtra's tradition and its today's condition so that we can do something for it.

The Beginning!!!

I read about bloggers.com in Maharashtra Times few months ago. And i decided to open my account here. But as i am very lazy to start anything, i opened the account few days ago. There also my laziness came in between and i just opened the account but dint write anything. Initially when i created my account, i wanted to give some different name to it. Hence i thought a lot on it. Then i came to a decision to give "Phulpakharu" as a name of my account.

Phulpakharu is a marathi word for Butterfly. I am very eger to watch the whole world and to get an every experience in my life. For that, the obvious thing is to fly anywhere in the world. Any place in the world where i will dream to go. This is a flying like a butterfly. Hence i gave the name so. Now in my blogs also, there won't be any restriction of topic. I will write on any topic whichever i will experience, i will wish to write. And also whenever i will wish to write. No Schedule, no ristriction!!!
